Ingredients

  • 1 pound vanilla plain cake
  • 50 gram vanilla buttercream
  • ½ tsp Christmas icing colour (red) 
  • 3 colored candy wafer
  • 3 tsp Vegetable shortening 

Let’s make the heart cake pop

  • Take one pound vanilla plain cake in a bowl. You can also take vanilla sponge cake. Break the cake well with hands and grind it as much as possible so that it looks like semolina. 
  • Take a separate bowl and add vanilla buttercream with christmas red color and mix them well. Add this mixing cream with powdered vanilla cake and mix them very well with hand. Here this butter works as binding agent. While mixing if you need more butter then add it. If you press it with your hand and it is like a ball, then you understand that butter will no longer be needed. 
  • Take a 8 inch mold and keep parchment paper on the bottom of the mold. Then pour the cake mixer and make them plain with pressure with the help of a spoon. We have to make sure that all aspects are equal. The cake should be left in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or until stiff. 
  • Take 3 colored wafers in different mugs and place in the microwave for 30 seconds separately to melt the wafer. Add 1 tsp vegetable shortening in each mug and mix them well with a spoon. It gives nice glossy appearance while making pops and also works so well as binding agent.
  • After 20 minutes, take the cake out of the fridge and cut the cake with a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Take some pop sticks and apply some melted chocolate in the pop stick. Then apply this pop stick in every heart-shaped cake like glue. After that, these cake pops should be left in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. 
  • After 10 minutes, The cake pops have to be dipped in chocolate. If the the chocolates become hard, then again put them in the microwave for 30 seconds. After a minute the cake pop will harden. Then write over them with food colouring markers as you wish. You can also decorate them with cake decorating balls. After designing, now it’s time to startle your beloved one and family members.
