Yes, I am saying pasta can be healthy and that is not 1000 calories. Really!!! Yes, it is. It is chicken pasta salad which is a perfect combination if you love pasta and salad, this pasta salad will definitely be a perfect combo for you. This salad is healthy because it has minerals, carbohydrates, and protein.

Ingredients

  • 300 gram sliced chicken
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 2 tsp honey 
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper 
  • ⅛ tsp salt 
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup pasta 
  • ¼ tsp salt 
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce 
  • ½ cup cherry tomato 
  • 1 cup croutons 
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese

Salad Dressing Ingredients

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt 
  • 2 tbsp honey 
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper 
  • Half Lemon juice 
  • Salt – According to your taste
  • 1 cup olive oil

Let’s make the Chicken Pasta Salad

  • Cut chicken into small pieces. Add soya sauce, honey, black pepper, salt, and melted butter to the chicken. Mix it well and marinate for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, cook the chicken at high heat for 5 minutes, and don’t add any water. The water will come out from the chicken and the chicken will be boiled with that water. If the chicken cooks for a long time, the chicken will become stiff. So the chicken can not be cooked for more than 5 minutes. After the burn color comes, it must be removed from the stove.
  • Boil pasta in water. When the water boils, add pasta and salt. Pasta has to be boiled for 10 minutes. Don’t boil pasta for less than 10 minutes otherwise, the pasta will remain raw. After boiling, rinse pasta with room temperature water.
  • Now it’s time for making salad dressing. Take Greek yogurt in a separate bowl and add honey, black pepper, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil. Olive oil should be added little by little. First of all, mix the yogurt very well with little oil. Then add the rest of the oil and mix it up with the help of a whisk until it mixes very well.
  • Take sliced lettuce in another bowl and add cooked chicken and boiled pasta with lettuce. Then add cherry tomato, croutons, parmesan cheese, and salad dressing one by one. Mix it all together very well and serve your friends and families.
